Compassion for the Needy is a Christian ministry and nonprofit organization founded in 2019 in Wichita, Kansas, serving people in need in Haiti.
Our story
Compassion for the Needy began in 2019 with a simple conviction: faith should be visible in the way we care for one another.
Our work is focused on Haiti, where many children are kept out of the classroom by cost, many elders live without family to care for them, and many children have lost their parents. Friends and churches in the United States and Canada make this work possible.

Who we serve
Children who cannot go to school, elders who have been abandoned, and orphaned children — together with the local communities and churches around them.
